Jagan mentioned vaccination is the one resolution for Covid-19 pandemic. He mentioned the state has obtained 1.68,46,210 doses of vaccine of which 1,76,70,642 individuals got first and second doses. He added that the Central authorities had allotted 53,14,740 doses of vaccine to the state for July of which 17,71,580 doses got to personal hospitals. He mentioned personal hospitals have administered solely 4,20,209 doses in June. Many haven’t accomplished their allotted doses. He urged to the Prime Minister to allot the unused vaccine doses from the personal hospitals to the federal government in order to extend the vaccination course of.
Jagan mentioned that the state was in a position to deal with the vaccination drive efficiently due to village and ward volunteers’ system. The volunteers had been in a position to determine the individuals and taking them to the vaccination centres, he added.
He mentioned the state was in a position to face the Covid-19 problem regardless of not having the medical amenities on par with Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
